Action does not heat as I thought it would. I have real hope for this product, but no real results yet.

This product is vastly superior to any other I have tried, for topical pain relief that is fast-acting, not messy, and most important, effective at deadening pain. I have a permanently “separated” shoulder (tip of my clavicle broke off decades ago — body surfing), and this stuff is a life-changer for me.

I fell on the ski slopes this past winter and, even though it was not a huge spill, I must have badly bruised or torn an arm muscle…this product (the backache one, not the other strengths) is outstanding as it eased the throbbing pain and got me through the 5 months of healing!!! Easy to apply, quick to relieve pain and soreness, and no medicinal smell makes this a winner. I will always have a tube of this product on hand for any muscular pain!!

This works on my back stress and pains. I wish they sold it in local stores. I tried the Activon for arthritis and muscles for my back problems, but they do not work as well as the Activon specifically for the back. I don’t know why it works so well. I will go out of my way to buy it.

Believe you me I have significant pain. New frozen shoulder, arthritis in it, cysts in all of the bones which comprise the shoulder and a long stint with very serious avascular necrosis, plus a whole bunch of neck and spine protruded and herniated discs plus now knees shot and ankles hurt too, much of the time. I use a wheelchair to travel beyond residence.
It took the frozen shoulder before I gave narcotics a try and I refuse all but very small doses as I don’t want addictions to anything and most drugs cause me severe stomach pain anyway. That leaves me in absolute agony.
Can no longer sleep on the side of my body with the lesser hips disease because that is now where a shoulder that feels like crushed bone is. Can’t sleep on the side of the body with the hip the greater hip and knee disease. So I am desperate for pain relief.
Heard those lousy HEAD ON commercials for-ever and figured they were bull.
But noticed one of the active ingredients in the product line is something other than MENTHOL so I gave this version a try and boy am I pleasantly surprised.
YOU DON’T SMELL FOR THE WHOLE WORLD LIKE YOU JUST USED BEN GAY.
There is no mess, no goop.
The ONLY thing I don’t like is it contains urea. I’m allergic to urea but am using this stuff anyway.
I get about 5 hours of pain relief at the shoulder. Some relief at the hip and great relief at the knees.
It does NOT help with the excruciating pain I get rising to my feet but off my feet it leaves my knees pretty dog gone comfortable.
The ONLY drawback is with pain relief you wind up dozing (off to sleep) ON THE BAD BODY PART and man when the drug (no matter what it is) wears off the pain that blasts through your brain when you come to because, times up, and the deadening is worn off, is awful.
But what’s the alternative?
Anything that really numbs pain allows you to roll onto or upon that bad area. And any drug has some point where it wears off and when the pain signal flies through those brain synapses to the brain POW IT IS.
At least you get the 4-5 hours of sleep and for someone that was down to only 90 minutes every other day, I tell you I’ll take this few hours of rest. Especially since I don’t have to worry about any side effects and don’t have to beg a doctor for anything.
I HOPE the other items in the product line work. I have a friend with migraines about to give the HEAD ON series a go since this has worked so well for me (and few things do).
Now some genius needs to figure out how to apply any pain reliever to the back when you have no help! Perhaps the same person could actually invent a backwasher that works while they are at it.
